Official Video Profile Dating Announcement

Alright, I know I mentioned video dating elsewhere but I thought I’d post this at our official blog – if that even exists. Yes, FreeDateClub’s done video – that’s right, we’ve now turned our site into a video profile dating site – why not?

At first we thought about launching a new domain – we were actually going to do this on our sister dating site crushmore.com but realized not too long ago that using our existing site with an established member-base would be a great idea too! So we went with that. For now crushmore can wait.

We also wondered about completely removing picture profiles from the site but decided that would be too much for our members. Not everyone is up to publishing a video profile and not everyone has the time to do it either. So as it stands and probably for as long as FreeDateClub.com exists, our members will be able to add both picture and video profiles – even though video profiles are better. Crushmore.com may be a great candiate for an “only video” profile dating site in the future. We’ll see. Maybe we should launch an only video profile dating site before someone else does but to be honest with you, at this point we don’t even care. Go for it!

Welcome To Our Dating Site Blogspot

It’s simple. We’ve had to move our dating site blogspot for FreeDateClub.com to our own servers from WordPress. We’re happy about that too because now we have full control of our dating information content and the template we use too!

So come back again soon as I’ll be posting all our previous dating articles (yes I was actually able to get them) so the site will be pretty much back to par!

A New Login Form On Our Free Dating Site

OK well, now when you log into any of our free dating sites you won’t have to hit the login link anymore and be taken to the login form on the home page.

Now, no matter where you are on the site and if you’re not logged in you can simply click the login link and it will display the login form for you. Ahh what a relief.

I’ve been putting that off for some time now but I’m glad it’s finally done and I’m sure the current members of my free dating sites will be relieved as well.

Oh, we not only have a new login box for all our dating sites but I just remembered, the login boxes for our provincial free dating sites don’t have the invisible form. It’s right there at the top, on all pages waiting for you to login.

2008s Top Day for Free Dating Sites

I’ve gathered some stats from my website traffic analytics service for my free dating sites and found that the top number of visits to the site this year along was not during the dead and dark days of winter but were actually the glory days of the summer.

There were actually two months where members of free dating sites logged in the most or new members signed up and those months were June and July. There were some last-ditch attempts at finding love on a free dating site on the months of August and September but there was an obvious decline.

My theory? Well I like to delve into deep pre-historic – hunt v.s. the hunted instinctive theories: the summer is full of hot and sexy single men and women and the facts are facts; you can’t win them all so why not search online for single members who have joined free dating sites?

I know when I was single; I wasn’t the only one who would talk around the camp-fire about my desires to find someone from a free dating site before the holidays and the dark nights of winter. Who wants to be alone when there’s nothing else to do but be alone?

Plus this Generation X generation of ours is getting old. A lot of us are in our 30s so tie the desires of summer and the need to fill a relationship gap in the winter with not many people our age truly enjoying the single life and you’ve got a giant spike in free dating site traffic for the summer months.
